How this site is made.

A website is also an infrastructure statement. Here is what that means in practice.

Data sovereignty is a phrase that fits on PowerPoint slides and rarely happens in practice. This site tries to bring it into practice: no trackers, no remote US fonts, no analytics that turns readers into data points. What does not need to be measured is not measured.

This is not purism. It is the same stance I recommend to clients: build locally first, then ask what actually needs to go into the cloud. What is stated here applies to this domain — and it applies to the systems I build for SMEs and NGOs, see /werkstatt/homelab.

The table below is the result, not the justification.

Note

"This site was built by Kevin Meier, online also known as meissullo — the same person, a different voice. The Werkstatt lives at meica.ch/werkstatt."

If something on this site does not work — a link, a contrast issue, a paragraph that reads wrong — I am grateful for a short note.
